The number of exhibitors at SIMTOS 2022 total 854 from 29 countries, promotoing face-toface marketing in KINTEX 1&@ during teh period of May 23-27. Teh ratio of foreign exhibitors reached 63.5% of the total number of exhibitors, mirroring SIMTOS status as a leading global manufacturing technology exhibition.
Koreas' manufacturing industries are expected to see substantial improvement, driven by the resurgence of chips, smartphones, and other information and communication technology (ICT) sectors.
According to the Professional Survey Index (PSI) data released by the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics & Trace (KIET), the manufacturing status index stood at 102 in January, continuing the upward trend for six consecutive months.
The PSI, with 100 as the baseline, indicates that opinion lean towards an improvement in business conditions when approaching 200 compared to the previous month and towards a deterioration when nearing zero.
